Joe, the Megalo Boxing champion, has returned to the underground fights under a new alias to regain his throne. He hasn't fought in seven years, and I'm not sure if he still has the fighting spirit to take on a new generation of fighters.
TMS Entertainment released a new trailer and visual for the Megalo Box series titled MEGALOBOX 2: NOMAD. It will debut on April 4, 2021, and will be available to watch on Funimation.
In the trailer, we see Gearless Joe come back to the battle arena after 7 long years. He's back with a new name, Nomad, to pursue his dreams again.
He's seen battling a tough adversary who knows him as a former Megalo Boxing champion and reveals that the drug will soon be worn out. Joe seems to have to rely on drugs now to keep up with younger and stronger fighters.
